This is an opportunity to spend some time outdoors either alone or with others, to slow down enough to notice the birds around you, and to help gather information through the Cornell Lab citizen-science project.
It is as simple as creating a free account, spending at least fifteen minutes outside looking at birds, and reporting your observations. There's even an app for that! eBird Mobile app
