Several years ago, I visited Honduras to meet with a church community. One morning at breakfast, our driver shared an observation that has resonated with me ever since. He said, "We all drink from the same sky, but only a few see the horizon." When I asked for an explanation, he responsed, "Trabajando. Trabajando" - "Working, Working."

As I evaluated my life, I realized how much of the present beauty I was missing because my eyes, my mind and even my heart were always focused on working.

Horizons is a place where you can step out of the hurry and busyness of your day in order to stop and see the beauty around you in community or in solitude.
